The Medical Center Main Campus Achieves National Re-Accreditation
In October 2010, the MCMC was surveyed by the American Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) for the purposes of evaluation for re-accreditation. We are proud and honored to report that both Student and Employee Clinics were awarded a three-year re-accreditation. This is the maximum accreditation a facility can receive.
This most recent achievement demonstrates our continuing endeavors in providing the highest level of quality care to our patients, and the same high level of conduct in our business practices. Accreditation by AAAHC is proof of our commitment, and signifies that we have met the rigorous standards of a nationally-recognized third party.
We are proud to have met the challenge of the re-accreditation process and intend to consistently uphold the principles of quality improvement and patient care in the future. Your Main Campus Medical Center is one in only 224 university health care facilities across the nation that have sought and achieved accreditation through AAAHC. Not everyone seeks accreditation, and not all undergoing the on-site survey are granted accreditation.
