Launch or Accelerate a Career in Health Care Compliance

Medicare. Medicaid. HIPPA. Rules and regulations abound in health care and the cost of non-compliance is high. Changing political environments can drastically alter existing healthcare law and policy as well. With 17 credits of coursework, the online Certificate in Health Care Compliance explores the foundations of compliance as well as the basics of health care law, building on Toledo Law’s strong tradition in the health law field.

This program has been submitted to the Compliance Certification Board (CCB)® for approval as a CCB-accredited ethics and compliance program.

To complete this Certificate in 10-12 months, students will need to take 7-10 credits per semester. However, students may complete coursework over a longer period of time.

For those students wishing to expand their knowledge of the law related to compliance, additional in-person courses may be taken above and beyond the credits required for the Certificate. Students able to attend in-person classes may also apply up to nine credits earned in the Certificate towards the College of Law’s Master of Studies in Law.
