Prepare to Practice Compliance in a Variety of Settings

This general-focus, fully online Certificate is designed for students looking to obtain a basic foundation in compliance applicable to a wide range of fields and industries. Consisting of 15 credits, the Graduate Certificate in Compliance exposes students to the basic foundations of this field. It also allows each student to complete a faculty-supervised research project on a compliance topic based on the student’s unique interests.

This program has been submitted to the Compliance Certification Board (CCB)® for approval as a CCB-accredited ethics and compliance program.

For students wishing to complete this Certificate in 10-12 months, a normal semester would consist of 7-8 credits. However, students may complete coursework over a longer period of time.

For those students wishing to expand their knowledge of the law related to compliance, additional in-person courses may be taken above and beyond the credits required for the Certificate. Students able to attend in-person classes may also apply up to nine credits earned in the Certificate towards the College of Law’s Master of Studies in Law.
