Proteomics Core Lab - Instrumentation
Note: For budgetary reasons, the UT Proteomics Core Laboratory has been temporarily closed. We are hopeful that the lab will reopen in the future. If you would like to use the PCL when it reopens, please email joanne.gray@utoledo.edu, with the subject line, "Notify When PCL Reopens". Differential Protein Expression Analysis by 2D-PAGE: (Currently for UT users only.) With all the associated limitations, gel based two dimentional electrophoresis is still the best method for quantitative differential protein expression analysis. A Personal Densitometer (PDSI) and 2D-Elite Software Amersham) is available for gel documentation and comparison studies. |
