SURF Students Welcome Picnic Held at Swan Creek Metro Park
As part of orientation week, the summer undergraduate research fellowship (SURF) students participating in summer research projects with faculty in the 4 tracks of the Biomedical Sciences graduate program enjoyed a picnic with faculty members and a group of graduate students selected from the tracks at the picnic shelter in Swan Creek metro park at 5:00 PM. After a foggy and rainy start to the day, Marianne Pohlman managed to arrange a couple of hours of sunshine just in time.

Summer undergraduate research fellows and other undergraduates who spent their summer doing research in labs on the Health
Science Campus presented the results of their work in a day long session. Those who spent their summer working with faculty
in the CVMD track included: We wish you the best for the coming year and hope you had a rewarding and educational experience at UT. The SURF program is directed by Bob Crissman, PhD. |
