Pre-Professional Programs

Students interested in pursuing a career in the health care area such as medical school, osteopathic medicine, veterinary medicine, dental school or physician's assistant programs typically major in biology. Specialized advising is available from the pre-professional advisor of Arts and Sciences (Ms. Sharon Schnarre, phone 530-2102 or e-mail sschnar@utnet.utoledo.edu). It is recommended that pre-professional students meet with the pre-professional advisor early in the freshman year.
