    Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations

    A native of New York, Ellen has been in the field of development since 1986. She began her fund raising career with Hands Across America then went to work for the March of Dimes. In 1988 she was hired by The University of Toledo and has worked in a variety of capacities including the Annual Fund, College Programs and she was responsible for spearheading a variety of fund raising initiatives during the successful UT 40 Campaign (1993-1998) such as the faculty and staff campaign, Campus Beautification, and the William S. Carlson Library effort. She is currently the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations. In addition to fund raising, Ellen has experience in prospect research and special event management. Blue and Gold is a continuing theme in her life. She has three grown children two of whom hold degrees from UT and one is a current student. Ellen has a bachelors degree from UT, as does her husband. In her spare time she is an ardent reader and an avid gardener and photographer as well as a collector of American Art Pottery.
