Homemade Bread Day- November 17

Make some homemade bread today.  The advantages of making your own bread are you know what’s in it; there are no preservatives or added sugar and fats.  A great way to make it easy is to use a bread maker.  You can also visit a local farmer’s market or a local bakery such as Bakery Unlimited or Country Grains.

National “Eat with a Friend” Day- November 25

When was the last time you ate with a friend?  For some, it could have been a while. Go to lunch with a co-worker or invite a friend over for dinner tonight.  Maybe, your family is around for Thanksgiving, you could eat with them as well.  Eating with a friend makes meal time a treat!
