Lucas D. Zastrow (2018)

zastrow_lucasLuke Zastrow was appointed to The University of Toledo Board of Trustees by Governor John Kasich in July 2016.  He is a member of the Academic and Student Affairs Committee and the Clinical Affairs Committee.

Luke is currently a second-year graduate student in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program at The University of Toledo. He also has a bachelor’s degree from UT in Exercise Science. During his undergraduate career, he joined and eventually took leadership positions in a variety of organizations including The Bridge, Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, Mortar Board and the Student Wellness Awareness Team. He also started his own Philanthropy event called Help The Hogar, which raised funds and awareness for an orphanage in Honduras that he visited on a mission trip during his sophomore year. Luke is currently a graduate assistant for the DPT program and works as an academic tutor for UT athletes. He is also involved in 1Matters, Cherry Street Mission Ministries and the Sigma Phi Epsilon Alumni Board.

In addition to his professional involvement, he enjoys the outdoors and is an avid mountain climber, hiker, and skier. He enjoys traveling and engaging in activities that push his mind and body to the limit. He hopes to leave a legacy of compassion, respect and integrity wherever the path leads him.
