Parking Enforcement Office -- Job Opportunities
The Parking Enforcement Office employs close to 50 students as members of the Rocket Patrol. Rocket Patrol issues parking tickets and assists with traffic control at special events and sporting contests. Starting pay is $6.25 an hour. Only UT students may be members of Rocket Patrol.
A background check – including driving history, criminal record, and employment history (including absenteeism) – will be conducted prior to employment. All applicants must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
In accordance with University policy, students may not work more than 20 hours per week at any University student position. This includes jobs at other UT offices (i.e.: if a student works 8 hours a week as a life guard at the Student Recreation Center, they may only work 12 hours a week for Rocket Patrol)
