Dr. Jung graduated from Rutgers University in 1993 with the Bachelors of Science in Pharmacy, and St. John’s University in
1996 with the Doctor of Pharmacy degree. She completed the Pharmacy Practice Residency and Critical Care and Infectious Diseases
Pharmacotherapy
Fellowship at The University of Illinois at Chicago. Thereafter, Dr. Jung was on faculty at the University of Colorado Health
Sciences Center
until moving to The University of Toledo in 2007.
Dr. Jung is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist. She is currently in a
process of completing the Masters in Public Health degree at the Northwest Ohio Consortium for Public Health. Dr. Jung is
a member of the
American College of Clinical Pharmacy and the Society of Infectious Disease Pharmacists.
Dr. Jung coordinates and lectures in Patient
Care Rounds II and Introductions to Research Methods. She also teaches in Professional Practice Development courses and in
the Infectious
Disease Pathophysiology and Pharmacotherapy course.
Dr. Jung has published book chapters, research papers, and critical reviews on infection and critical illness in a variety of peer-reviewed publications. Recent publications are noted as follows.
