Images from the 2009 summer GK-12 field course
The 2009 summer GK-12 course examined the geology of the land-lake interface through classroom lectures and many field experiences. It focused on geologic events, including stream and river processes, which have resulted in our modern landscape, as well as contaminants and their potential sources and pathways. The fellows, teacher and PIs had a great time learning and bonding with each other during the week-long class. The instructors were Dr. Timothy Fisher and Dr. Cyndee Gruden.
