Dr. BRANDON SCOTT COHEN
Dr. Brandon Cohen is a Senior Lecturer of Management, teaching law and entrepreneurship
with a concentration on the cannabis industry. Full-time with the University since
2009, Cohen initially focused on research in entrepreneurship and solar energy working
on grants with the National Science Foundation and the Department of Energy. More
recently, he has concentrated in cannabis law and entrepreneurship as his direct experience
in the regulated Michigan Cannabis Market gives him keen insights on the cannabis
industry at large. Cohen is a licensed attorney and member of the bar in both Ohio
and Michigan. Cohen lives a mile up the street from campus where he is married to
wife Jessie and has four sons.
