Design & Discovery Expo
The Design & Discovery Expo is a signature event in the College of Engineering that highlights the creativity, innovation, and research excellence of our students and faculty. This expanded spring event combines the Senior Design & Research Expo with additional public sessions to showcase student projects, faculty research, and industry collaborations. The Expo fosters engagement, celebrates success, and strengthens connections between academia and industry.

Morning Events
Virtual Panel Discussion with Graduate Student Alumni | 10:00–11:00 a.m. (SSOE Seminar Room, Nitschke 1027)
Join current students as we talk with graduate student alumni about how their UToledo education helped launch their careers. Panelists will discuss their career pathways and offer advice in an open Q&A session.
Launch of GRADIENT and seminar | 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. (SSOE Seminar Room, Nitschke 1027)
GRADIENT, the Graduate Alumni Network for Engineering and Technology, is launching this year with a series of initiatives. GRADIENT aims to strengthen alumni engagement, mentorship, and international exchange opportunities. Join alumnus Dr. Anupam Saxena (MS Mechanical Engineering, 1997, currently IIT Kanpur) as our guest speaker to introduce GRADIENT Global, our initiative for connecting with alumni abroad. Dr. Saxena will be discussing his career trajectory and research since graduating from the College of Engineering.

Panel Discussion on Industrial Research | 1:15–2:45 p.m. (North Engineering 2108)
Industry leaders are joining person to discuss applied research in their companies and how faculty and students can collaborate with them. Includes a Q&A session.
