Special Grade Option - Spring 2020

For spring 2020, the university implemented a special Pass/No Credit option that can be used for both undergraduate and graduate students. Some academic programs and courses may be excluded from this grading option based on accreditation, licensure, and/or degree standards.

PC (Pass) - Students who have earned a letter grade of a C and above may elect this grade.
PE (Pass) - Students who have earned a letter grade of a C-, D+, D or D- may elect this grade.
NE (No Credit) – No credit is earned. Students who have earned an F may elect this grade.
IE (Incomplete) - Unique incomplete code only used for the spring 2020 term.*

*Students should work with their  instructor, rather than complete the Pass/No Credit form, to request an incomplete.  Additional information regarding incompletes can be found in the FAQ section of this page.

Students may elect to change their course grading to Pass/No Credit rather than a standard letter grade by completing the appropriate form and following these procedures:

  1. Once you view your letter grade you will have until May 22, 2020 to decide if you want to request the PC/PE/NE option.

  2. Review the information on the form to make the best decision for your particular situation. Consult with your advisor, if needed.

  3. Email the completed form to the student services office of your home college.
