The University of Toledo is the best place in Ohio to earn a master's degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies. We are the only university in the state to offer a Recreation Therapy concentration.
Recreation Therapy concentration
- Students often come to us directly from their bachelor's degree programs or as employees of rehabilitation, health care or other specialized professions serving individuals with disabilities.
- On-campus and online classes
- Required 14-week, 560-hour internship
- Eligible to apply for the Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) certification exam administered by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC) after earning your M.A.
