Recreation Center
The Student Recreation Center has just about everything a UToledo student could need when it comes to physical fitness. Opened in October 1990, the building contains exercise-related equipment and activity spaces, including:
- Five full-length basketball and volleyball courts
- An indoor soccer arena
- A cycling room
- A free weight room
- An aerobics room
- A climbing wall
- Three racquetball courts
- A high ropes obstacle court
Within the Student Recreation Center, the Aquatic Center features an Olympic-sized lap pool, a diving pool, hot tub and whirlpool areas, a sauna and the first ever indoor water slide on a college campus in the United States.
Members of the public can also purchase a membership and take advantage of group fitness classes offered at the Student Recreation Center, ranging from group yoga to spinning and TRX.
