Kate’s Closet, strives to empower women through fashion. The closet serves as a resource for participants of Eberly Center programming and UT students to find professionals attire without experiencing the cost of a new wardrobe.
Shopping in the Closet
Women eligible to shop in the closet include University of Toledo students, and individuals who have participated in at least one class or program at the Eberly Center in the last year. Shopping visits are appointment based, and in order to serve as many women in the community as possible, there is a limit on the number of items that can be given per shopping trip. For a complete listing of the rules, click here. The closet has been under construction since January but it is almost ready for appointments, please call us at 419.530.8570 with questions.
How can you help?
The closet's inventory operates completely on donations. Due to limited space and construction, we will be accepting donations very soon, please click to see a list of the items that we need. All donations will be by appointment, call 419.530.7232 for more information. If you have a passions for fashion and would be interested in volunteering as a styling consultant, please contact the Eberly Center for training opportunities.
