Programming Mini Grants

students painting denim jeansThe Eberly Center is excited to offer student organizations and other student groups the opportunity to apply for programming funding. Mini grants will be available for up to $100 per program for the following topics: Domestic Violence Awareness, Sexual Health, Love Your Body Week, Women's History Month, and Sexual Assault Awareness.

Programming Mini Grants must be used to support programs for UToledo students. Mini Grants cannot be used to purchase items/food for non-UToledo students.

October Mini Grant: Domestic Violence Awareness

Program Dates: Oct 1 - 31 | Deadline: September 13, 2024

As defined by the National Domestic Violence Hotline, Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) unites advocates in their efforts to end domestic violence, raise awareness about the signs of abuse and ways to stop it, uplift survivor stoires, and provide additional information and resources to leaders.

Domestic Violence (also referred to as intimate partner violence (IPV), dating violence, or relationship violence) is a pattern of behaviors used by one partner to maintain power and control over another partner in an intimate relationship. Domestic Violence includes behaviors that physically harm, intimidate, manipulate, or control a partner or otherwise force them to behave in ways they don't want to. This can happen through physical violence, threats, emotional abuse, or financial control.

November Mini Grant: Sexual Health

Program Dates: Nov 1 - 30 | Deadline: October 18, 2024

The World Health Organization defines sexual health as a state of physical, mental, and social well-being in relation to a person's sexuality. Sexual health is comprehensive, medically accurate information provided without judgement.

February Mini Grant: Love Your Body Week

Program Dates: Feb 1 - 28 | Deadline: January 20, 2025

Love Your Body Week (LYBW) challenges the message that our value is connected or dependent on our embodiment of current beauty 'standards'. LYBW celebrates bodies as they are promoting holistic wellness, bodily autonomy, and body acceptance.

March Mini Grants: Women's History Month

Program Dates: March 10 - 31 | Dealdine: February 16, 2025

Women's History Month is an annual celebration to honor and commemorate the vital role that women have always played and continue to play in society.

April Mini Grant: Sexual Assault Awareness

Program Dates: April 1 - 26 | Deadline: March 16, 2025

As defined by the National Sexual violence Resource Center, Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) recognizes that sexual violence impacts ever person in the community, raises awareness about sexual violence and educates communities on prevention methods.
