The University of Toledo’s 100% online M.B.A. program offers maximum flexibility for working professionals. Our program is ranked among the best online programs in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.
Advance your career at one of the country’s best business schools. We are one of just 6% of business colleges nationwide to be fully accredited.
The typical admitted student in the M.B.A. program has at least a 2.7 undergraduate GPA and 450 on the GMAT. But undergraduate GPA and GMAT scores will not be the sole basis for admissions decisions.
Our online master’s program curriculum focuses on business analysis and strategy. We offer six areas of business specializations:
Flexible options. Online classes allow you to keep working while earning an accredited M.B.A. The majority of our students work while earning their degrees. Full-time students can earn their degree in as little as one year. The typical working professional — taking two courses per semester as a part-time student — can complete the degree in as little as six semesters.
Experienced faculty. Faculty members with Ph.D.s or the equivalent — not teaching assistants — teach your classes. They have real-world business experience.
Top-ranked business school. The Princeton Review ranked the College of Business and Innovation (COBI) as one of the nation's best business schools. It repeatedly recognized the excellence of UToledo's M.B.A. program. COBI's accreditation and exclusive membership in the Graduate Management Admission Council ensure enrollment of high-quality M.B.A. students.
Generous scholarships. Online M.B.A. students are eligible for aid. UToledo waives out-of-state tuition for online students. Out-of-state students pay only a $5 per credit hour surcharge.
Excellent support services. Dedicated advisors and career counselors offer academic and career advice, scholarship information and more. COBI was ranked #2 in the nation for student services and technology by U.S. News and World Report.
UToledo is a large, public research university. We have the technical resources to support distance learners through UToledo Online.
Extensive network. Our alumni and business connections extend all over the world.
The majority of UToledo M.B.A. students are employed and looking to advance their careers.
The COBI Office of Graduate Programs and Business Career Programs office are committed to helping students looking for employment. More than 90% of M.B.A. students seeking new jobs receive job placements within three-to-six months after earning their graduate degrees.

"UToledo's generous sponsorship program and rigorous curriculum paved the road to my success. My goal has always been to start a company. I frequented UToledo-sponsored events such as Startup Weekend and Pitch & Pour. During a Startup Weekend meetup, I met my co-founder, an electrical engineering doctoral student. Our company, KientickAL, is compiling algorithms developed for our manufacturing clients to create an all-in-one, module-based factory automation toolkit. My degree prepared me for the trials and tribulations that occur when managing a startup. I am especially appreciative for the leadership, entrepreneurship and Student Managed Portfolio course. I apply the knowledge and skills learned in these courses to daily company operations."

Our innovative curriculum stays up-to-date with current business trends and issues. Academic advisors work with students to develop customized plans of study. Graduate students who don’t have an undergraduate business degree would need to satisfy the common body of knowledge courses, up to 18 credit hours.
UToledo's M.B.A. program stands out because of its outstanding faculty. All graduate faculty members have Ph.D.s or the equivalent. They are well-published leaders in their fields. Almost all have business and international experiences they bring to the classroom.
M.B.A. students can take advantage of unique research opportunities in their areas of concentration.
