The Engineered Biosystems Laboratory (EBSL) is emulating nature's principles to develop physiologically relevant three-dimensional (3D) in vitro models to study musculoskeletal system. In EBSL, the research centers around the interface between biomimetic design, biomanufacturing, cellular processes, biomaterial sciences, biophysics, and mechanobiology. Research thrusts in EBSL:

  1. Tissue Engineering Approaches for Musculoskeletal Tissues
  2. Biomechanical Approaches for Musculoskeletal System
  3. Mechanobiological Approaches in Cancer - Musculoskeletal Tissue Interaction
