Research and Teaching Interests
Engineering new materials by understanding their changes under flow serves as the
central research theme of the rheology research laboratory. Specifically, the group
performs complicated rheology measurements in parallel with other techniques (high
pressure, light scattering, high shear, controlled humidity) on a range of polymer,
colloid, and surfactant systems.
My classroom and educational research employs active and self-directed learning tools,
including the unique, reverse engineering of YouTube videos.
