Cadence University Program: The University of Toledo is a Cadence University Program Member. Cadence circuit simulation and design software is particularly used to support the following teaching and research activities in Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at the college of engineering.

  • Projects related to Physical Unclonable Functions for Hardware Oriented Security mapped on FPGAs and Testing of Digital/VLSI circuits.
  • Cadence products are being used for design entry, circuit simulation, timing and delay measurements, testing BIST circuitry on FPGAs, and frequency related measurements for PUFs in the above listed courses and projects.
