"After completing my Bachelors in Medicine from India, I was looking for a Master’s that would enhance my sphere of medicinal knowledge with the current demands of corporate world market: Information Technology. There is a current boom in informatics being coupled with biology and I found the PSM program in Biomarkers and Diagnostics at the University of Toledo a perfect match for my Graduate ambition.

I would highly recommend this program to anyone who has interest in studying a combination of Biology, Informatics, and Management for their Master’s. It is a good choice for people who do not want to go into research and PhD and work in the corporate market. There is an Internship opportunity that is part of the PSM curriculum that gives a great hands-on experience in a corporate organization to practice the tools and basics learned in the program. It can also be taken as a choice of Graduate degree that helps you prepare for your PhD and research. The University of Toledo is one of the most student-friendly places to be. I love the diverse cultural exposure one gets here. The quality of education and student life is great for your development with super friendly faculty and staff."

"If you are looking to pursue a degree in Biomedical Sciences or Bioinformatics to learn the Industrial aspects of these fields, this is the program you should be in. I finished my Bachelors in India with a B. Tech in Biotechnology degree. Just after that I started to work on a research project. During this period I was searching for a masters program that would help me to learn about recent advances in biomedical sciences and bioinformatics. Also, I wanted to learn about industrial perspectives of these fields. I found that the PSM (Professional Science Masters) program at The University of Toledo matched my interests. I recommend this program for several reasons. UToledo is known for quality education, diversity and a welcoming atmosphere. The PSM program is flexible, as you get some elective courses to choose from, so you can follow your interest. You take some business management courses, which add to your skills and help you to look at your profession from a managerial angle. Summer Internship is the time when you actually apply things you learned in the program. For students who have just finished their bachelors, this program will help in deciding career goals and getting into industry."
