New Student Orientation Programs

To Register for Orientation

1. Activate your myUT account.

2. Log in to the myUT portal at Please note that you must register from a computer, not a smart phone, and it is best to use Google Chrome as your browser. 

3. Make sure you’re on the “New Student” tab and then click on the links under “Register for Orientation." Please note you must submit your enrollment deposit before you can register for orientation.

4. Complete all steps in the online reservation system. You can track your progress on the left sidebar. You may exit the system and re-enter as needed, just make sure to save each page as you go.

5. Click the green “Submit” button on the final “My Reservation” page to secure your spot. You will know you’ve submitted it properly when you receive a confirmation email to the email address you listed in the reservation system. We strongly recommend that this be your Rockets email account since it is the way all University business will be communicated to you. You can check your inbox at
