The UT Opera Ensemble presents Franz Lehár's THE MERRY WIDOW.  A baron schemes to find a wealthy widow a local husband who will keep her money in the country, while the widow keeps her many suitors guessing about who she'll choose. Lively music and dancing highlight the performance.


The Brothers Grimm and Little Red Riding Hood

The stories themselves are transformed by the imaginations of the Grimm Brothers from dull factual recitations to exciting fairy tales.

This shortened version of THE MAGIC FLUTE by Mozart is presented by the University of Toledo Opera Ensemble. It will be a performance with Mozart’s beautiful music still as he intended but with the dialogue in English and improvised.

NO TWO PERFORMANCES ARE THE SAME! The ensemble and the AUDIENCE will create a unique dramatic and comedic experience that is sure to make audiences laugh. The story is the same but the dialogue is without script and added with the participation of the audience, and it is sure to be a ONE OF A KIND evening. Come see THE MAGIC FLUTE as you have never seen it, nor ever will again!
