Dr. Rorie is an Assistant Professor of Counselor Education and joined the UToledo faculty in 2018. She received her BS in Psychology and MA in Clinical Counseling from The Ohio State University and her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Kent State University. Dr. Rorie is Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Ohio and has clinical experiences working with college-aged students, adults, couples, and children in community mental health, residential treatment, and college counseling settings. Her research interests include multicultural and diversity issues in counseling and counselor education; specifically cross-cultural interactions within counselor education.
