Discovery Day on September 22, 2023― a special event for prospective students to learn about academic majors and campus activities.
What can I expect at Discovery Day?
You’ll spend the day discovering different parts of campus while being able to explore further into programs that fit your interest.
- Learn more about college programs that interest you
- Narrow down what major you are interested in
- Talk with faculty and staff
- Tour our main campus
- Tour facilities in the academic colleges
- Seniors who have not yet applied to UToledo can apply for free with an admission counselor at the event!
Event Agenda
9:30am-10:00am-Check-in
- Located in Student Union Auditorium
- Parking will be available in lots 10 and 13
10:00am-10:40am-Welcome
- Located in Student Union Auditorium
10:40am-3:00pm -Application Workshop
- Located in Student Union 3018
10:40-11:55am- Resource Fair and Lunch
- Location in Student Union Auditorium
- Buses for Nursing, Pharmacy and Engineering depart 11:45am for session 1, meet in SU Auditorium
12:15pm-1:15pm- Academic Session 1 or Campus Tour Option
- Academic session located in program's area
- Campus Tours will leave from the Student Union Auditorium
- Bus departs from Nursing, Pharmacy, and Engineering at 1:15pm to return to main campus
- Buses for Nursing, Pharmacy, and Engineering depart at 1:20 for session 2, meet in
Student Union Auditorium
- Pharmacy and Nursing are available only for the first session
- Parking will be available in lot 20 for College of Engineering and lot 40 for Pharmacy and Nursing, but transportation will be provided for guests
1:40pm-2:45pm- Academic Session 2 or Campus Tour Option
- Academic session located in program's area
- Campus Tours will leave from the Student Union Auditorium
- Bus departs Engineering at 1:20pm and will meet in the Student Union Auditorium. Bus will return to main campus at 2:40pm when program ends.
- Parking will be available in lot 20 for College of Engineering, but transportation will be provided for guests
2:45pm- Campus Tour Option
- Campus Tours will leave from the Student Union Auditorium

Yes! If you haven’t toured your college yet, you’ll definitely want to come to Discovery Day. This event will give you an up-close look at programs that you are interested in and all that they have to offer.
