Open Enrollment Documentation Deadline: Tuesday, November 15th

Please remember to UPLOAD any dependent verification documents (listed below) for new family members added to your insurance. The Document Upload link is located in your MyUT Portal under the 'Employee Tab' or you can visit Benefit Documents Upload.

If you added a spouse, we will need: Marriage Certificate (and Spousal Affidavit, if required)

If you added a child, we will need: Birth Certificate, adoption paperwork, or court documents

All documents need to be uploaded by November 15th or the benefits enrollment process will be incomplete, and dependents will not be added. (Emailed/Faxed/Paper Documents will not be accepted.)

Leave of Absence Process Update

As a part of Human Resources process improvement initiatives, HR and Payroll have made an update to the Leaves of Absence process. Effective 10/01/2022, HR will be placing salaried employees that have exhausted their sick/vacation banks into an unpaid status in the HR/Payroll system. Employees moved to this status can return to paid status, when they return from their approved leave with the appropriate return to work documentation submitted. If an employee doesn’t return within 3 days of the end of their approved leave, the university will begin the separation of service process per the University’s policy. All CBA rules will be followed.

2022 W2 & 1095c Forms—Go Green!

If you have not already done so, we encourage you to elect to receive your W2 and 1095-C Employer-Provided Health Insurance Offer and Coverage Statements online. Help our environment and be a part of our “Go Green” initiative here at UT.

If you provide consent — or if you have in the past — you may obtain your W2 and 1095-C tax forms for 2022 online through the MyUT Portal, Employee Tab.

Providing consent - It only takes a minute to make the change.

If you have not already provided consent for online W2 and/or 1095-C distribution: Log in to MyUT.

Go to the Employee tab and select the “Tax Forms” link in the My Toolkit section.

Select the “Electronic IRS Forms Consent” option.

A window will pop up that explains the consent form option, and if you agree, check the box for the consent and hit submit at the bottom of the page.

Spring 2023 Tuition Waiver

The deadline to request a Spring 2023 tuition waiver for yourself, spouse or eligible dependent child is Thursday, January 5th. Please refer to the tuition waiver page for more info and submit your waiver request through your myUT portal under Benefits Information- Tuition Waiver.
