Medical Mutual: Register your Account
For all medical plan participants: As a member of Medical Mutual, you have the opportunity to register your account online via the My Health Plan page, and also to download the Med Mutual app, which gives you access to your ID and claims information.
CerpassRx/Prescription Card Info Reminder
Your Medical Mutual insurance card also contains your prescription plan information. Please use your Medical Mutual insurance card when visiting the pharmacy. As a reminder, prescriptions over a 14-day supply must be filled at a UTMC pharmacy to be covered by insurance.
Healthcare Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Reminder
Unused funds, up to $610 from 2023, will carry over into your 2024 healthcare FSA. If you did not elect an FSA for 2024 but have unused funds, the deadline to submit for reimbursement for 2023 claims is March 30th. Please reach out to Chard Snyder at 800-982-7715 for information on your specific FSA.
Vision Plan Highlights
Vision plan members can shop for contacts, glasses and sunglasses online or at various retail stores through in-network shopping. New to the VSP network this year is Visionworks. Visit https://www.vsp.com/shop and sign in to get started.
Health Savings Account (HSA) with Optum Bank
If you’re new to a Health Savings Account (HSA) in 2024, don’t forget to register and set up your online account through Optum bank.
Retirement: Website Update, Upcoming Consultation & Info Sessions and Universal Availability Notice
The UToledo Retirement Systems webpage has been updated and includes links to register for various information sessions and consultations with our vendors. Additionally, the Universal Availability limits for 2024 are now posted under the 403(b) & 457(b) tabs. Click on Universal Availability Notice for more information.
W-2 & 1095-C Info
Your W-2 and 1095-C will be mailed out by 1/31. They will arrive in the same envelope this year. 2023 W-2’s and 1095-Cs are available online for those employees that chose to receive them electronically. The forms are located on your MyUT portal, Employee Tab, Pay Details & Leave Balance, Tax Forms.

The webinar series from Impact Solutions has been updated for 2024 and covers programs including caring for an elder parent, mental health, and understanding emotional & wellness intelligence.
