Master of Athletic Training Program

Clinical Education

Students will complete a total of 50+ weeks of clinical education. The experiences will include different types of rotations- each with different rigor, number of hours per week and expectations related to student learning and clinical practice involvement. The UToledo MAT Policies and Procedures Manual provides additional details.

Semester 1: Summer

The clinical education component provides students the opportunity to translate knowledge and skills from classroom to real-life patient care.  Under the supervision of a Clinical Preceptor, students will complete a series of clinical education rotations in a variety of settings.
