Dr. Clark is an Associate Professor of Counselor Education and joined the UToledo faculty in 2016. She received her BS in Sociology, MSEd in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision with cognates in qualitative research and educational research methodology from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. Dr. Clark is Licensed Professional Counselor in the commonwealth of Virginia, a National Certified Counselor, an Approved Clinical Supervisor, and has clinical experiences working adults, families, and children in community mental health and non-profit settings. Her research interests include multicultural and diversity issues in counseling and counselor education and specifically how social class and poverty impact counseling access, services, and outcomes.
