HIA Program of Study
The undergraduate degree in Health Information Administration (HIA) requires a total
of 120 credits. It is recommended that students follow and complete the degree requirements
in the sequence displayed.

The HIA degree program is designed to prepare undergraduate students with the knowledge
and skills necessary for entry level and administrative positions in the healthcare
industry. Upon completion of the HIA degree program at the University of Toledo, graduates
will be ready to pursue a variety of growing opportunities within the health care
industry.
