Seat & Commitment Deposits

Seat Deposit

To reserve your seat in the entering class, you will need to pay a $150 Seat Deposit by April 15 (or as otherwise specified in your offer letter of admission).

In addition, a $250 Commitment Deposit is required by June 15. Payment of the Commitment Deposit signifies a binding intent to enroll and that you do not hold open offers at any other law school. These deposits are non-refundable but will be credited toward your first semester tuition and fees. It also allows us to process your financial aid award and begin to formulate your class schedule.

To pay your seat deposit, you must first activate your student account (UTAD account) through the myUT Portal. To activate your UTAD account, enter your Rocket ID and date of birth. After completing the UTAD account activation, you must wait 24 hours before submitting your seat deposit.

Payment Options

Credit Card or Electronic Check: Once your UTAD account is active, you may pay your deposits by credit card or electronic check by logging into the myUT Portal. Click the Law Deposits link under the Student tab (Student  > My Accounts > Law Deposits).
