UToledo Receives NIH Grant to Train Diverse Doctoral Students
T32, GRISE participated in the faceofscience campaign organised by the nih diversity program consortium
The University of Toledo T32, GRISE (1T32GM144873-01) participated in the third annual #FaceOfScience social media campaign on Wednesday, April 26. This campaign is organized by the NIH Diversity Program Consortium and engages scientists nationwide by asking them to post a #FaceOfScience “selfie” on social media and share what they love most about research.
The T32 students and supporters from both the UT Main and the Medical campuses participated by posting their pictures holding a T32 sign in social media. The NIHDPC retweeted and liked our picture. This campaign helps draw attention to the programs at UT and contributes to our recruitment efforts.
Stay tuned, next year we plan to broaden the campaign by including students, faculty, mentors, researchers, and participants from across the research workforce, including those who help to support research.
