Research and Teaching Interests

Before coming to UToledo, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Columbia University and the Center for Computational Astrophysics in New York City. He is a theorist working to understand the first stars and galaxies, supermassive black hole formation and cosmic reionization. He utilizes numerical simulations and analytic calculations to make predictions for instruments such as the James Webb Space Telescope and galaxy line-intensity mapping experiments.
