Tobacco Cessation

The University of Toledo Health Science and Main Campuses are tobacco free.  We want to help you be tobacco free too!  We offer programs, events, and sessions to help you in your journey to quit.  These programs use a positive behavior-change approach to smoking cessation. The sessions focus on developing a quitting strategy, understanding nicotine addiction, the use of nicotine replacement products, and dealing with recovery symptoms, controlling weight, and managing stress through relaxation, as well as assertiveness techniques and a variety of prevention strategies for smoking cessation and maintenance.

For additional information and help call the Quit Line, 1-800-QUIT NOW (1-800-784-8669). You can also visit the CDC for additional resources and information on quitting.
