Daniel D. Arendt, Student Trustee (2016)
Daniel Arendt was appointed to the Board of Trustees in 2014. He serves as a member of the Clinical Affairs Committee and the Academic and Student Affairs Committee.
Mr. Arendt is currently a third year student in the professional PharmD Program. He hopes to one day work as a clinical pharmacist and come back and work at The University of Toledo.
Originally from Buffalo, New York, he currently lives in the Sigma Phi Epsilon house in McComas Village. Mr. Arendt is involved in various organizations across campus and has held a number of leadership positions, such as President of both the Carter Hall Council and the Resident Student Association, as a Development Coordinator and member of the Recruitment Committee for his Fraternity Sigma Phi Epsilon, and as Vice President of Donations and Vice President of Logistics for UT Bridge, an organization that packs homemade lunches for the homeless. Mr. Arendt has also worked as Vice President of Membership for the Presidential Ambassadors, Leadership Facilitator, and Director of the 2013 Halloween Walk. He is also a member of the Mortar Board National Honor Society.
As a member of the Board, Mr. Arendt hopes to ensure that the students voice and opinion is heard. He is very excited to be working to represent his fellow students.
