Orientation Service Project

As a new service project initiative for Rocket Launch in 2018, we invite new students and guests to give to the UT community by donating items to the UT Student Food Pantry. The Student Food Pantry is a program that provides food staples to students in need and is located in the Student Union Room 2504 (across from the Commuter Lounge).

To participate, simply bring your donation of non-perishable food items or hygiene products to check-in during your designated Rocket Launch session.

Suggested items*:
Oatmeal
Cereal
Pasta
Pasta Sauce
Beans
Rice
Peanut Butter & Jelly
Soups
Canned Vegetables
Canned Fruits
Canned Meats/Fish
Nuts
Trail Mix
Granola Bars
Crackers
Boxed Snacks
Packaged/Boxed Meals
Applesauce/Fruit Cups

*This is just a suggested list. Any other healthy, nutritious, non-perishable food items that can make filling meals are appreciated.

Any currently enrolled student at the University of Toledo may use the food pantry two times per month, and may receive enough food for three days. Click HERE for more information on the UT Student Food Pantry, including how to make a monetary donation via the UT Foundation.
