Meet our accomplished 2021 graduates.

Elizabeth AgboluajeElizabeth Agboluaje

2021 M.S. Graduate
Elizabeth is continuing her study in a pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences Ph.D. program at the University of Georgia. Her career plan is to work as a formulation scientist at a top pharmaceutical company after completion of her Ph.D. program. Then she would like to start her own pharmaceutical company in Nigeria.


Zaynah AwetheZaynah Awethe

2021 B.S.P.S. Valedictorian
Zaynah is graduating with her B.S.P.S. degree in pharmacology/toxicology with departmental honors. She plans to continue her studies at The Ohio State University College of Medicine with the end goal of becoming a board-certified dermatologist.

Bonnie BerindeanBonnie Berindean

2021 Pharm.D. Valedictorian
Bonnie has lined up a PGY-1 pharmacy residency at Mercy Health Facility, St. Charles Hospital in Oregon, Ohio. Her career goals are to become a clinical pharmacist in Northwest Ohio and she has a particular interest in emergency medicine.


Shannon CassidyShannon Cassidy

2021 Pharm.D. Valedictorian
Shannon has been working as an intern at Discount Drug Mart and is excited to start her career as a pharmacist with them. She said her time at Discount Drug Mart has been extremely rewarding so far and she hopes to eventually be chief pharmacist for them.


Abigail GeyerAbigail Geyer

2021 Pharm.D. Valedictorian
Abigail is going into her PGY-1 pharmacy residency at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Her career goals include eventually working as a clinical specialist pharmacist in a teaching hospital which would give her the opportunity to work with the healthcare team, pharmacy students, and residents to provide great care for patients.


Maureen HickeyMaureen Hickey

2021 Pharm.D. Valedictorian
Maureen has accepted a PGY-1 pharmacy residency in an acute care track at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In the future, she would like to practice as a clinical pharmacist in a teaching hospital to precept students and residents while working to serve underserved patient populations.


Hannah HixenbaughHannah Hixenbaugh

2021 Pharm.D. Valedictorian
Hannah is completing a PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at University Hospitals Ahuja Medical Center in Beachwood, Ohio. After completion of her PGY-1, she hopes to complete a PGY-2 critical care pharmacy residency to help her in her aspiration to be a clinical pharmacist working in a critical care unit.

Safalta KhadkaSafalta Khadka

2021 M.S. Graduate
Safalta plans to join the Ph.D. program in health services and outcomes research at West Virginia University this fall. Her goal is to become a successful researcher in the field of health outcomes.


Grace LaFleurGrace LaFleur

2021 Pharm.D. Valedictorian
Grace has accepted a PGY-1 community-based pharmacy residency with Kroger and The University of Toledo. Ultimately, Grace would like to continue practicing with a community pharmacy while also being involved in academia through a potential pharmacy practice faculty position at a Midwestern university.

2021 Ph.D. Graduate
Ethel is graduating with her Ph.D. in medicinal and biological chemistry. She hopes to make an impact on her field of study and improve the lives of others.
