Centers of Excellence
In 2010 the University System of Ohio called for each state university to have distinctive missions and to develop centers of excellence that are to serve as the “platform for world-class research.” Three centers of excellence have been named at the University of Toledo:
Center of Excellence in Biomedical Research and Individualized Medicine
Center of Excellence in Advanced Renewable Energy and the Environment
