Office of Student Involvement & Leadership

The Office of Student Involvement & Leadership seeks to build community and is committed to providing students with opportunities for involvement that will enhance and complement their UToledo experience. The office supports a variety of areas, including but not limited to the following: student organizations, Involvement Network "Invonet",  Greek Life (fraternities and sororities), leadership programs (annual Leadership Conference, retreats, etc.), service programs, and Homecoming.

Counseling Center

The Counseling Center offers free individual, couples, and group counseling services for registered UToledo students.  We see students for a number of concerns, such as: anxiety, depression, home sickness, and relationship issues.

Learning Enhancement Center

The Learning Enhancement Center provides all University of Toledo undergraduate students with accessible, professional, academic support services that enhance success and retention. The LEC offers FREE tutoring in math, science, engineering, statistics, business, and foreign languages as well as academic coaching and workshops.

Writing Center

The Writing Center assists all UT students on a variety of writing projects in any subject and at any point in the writing process. Tutors provide feedback to help students generate ideas, organize thoughts, and clarify main points in addition to helping with the revision process.

Title IX

 Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (Title IX) is a federal law that prohibits sex discrimination. The University encourages the reporting of sexual misconduct (including sex discrimination, sexual harassment and sexual assault) or retaliation that may occur n its programs or activities, to ensure that the University has an opportunity to address prohibited conduct. Additionally, the Title IX Office provides training, workshops, and awareness programming for the University of Toledo community.

Work Study Program

The Federal Work-Study program is federally funded and designed to assist those students who demonstrate financial need. It provides the opportunity of on-campus  employment to qualified students. Students must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid each year in order to be considered for Federal Work-Study.
