Our Fitness and Wellness Programs (FitWELL) offer you everything you need to accomplish your goals at The University of Toledo. With Rocket-Ex Group Exercise classes, MX4 classes, personal training, fitness assessments and athletic training, we are ready to meet your recreational, fitness and learning goals. Course Registration

How do you register?

UToledo employees and students

  • Click the course registration button above
  • Click Log In in the top right corner of the screen
  • Click UTAD button
  • Enter your UTAD credentials and log in
  • Choose the FitWELL classification
  • Select your program
  • Click Register for the class time that works for you

New Community Members

Members who are not UToledo employees or students will need to create an account before registering for classes. You can create your account by clicking here and then clicking Sign Up in the top right corner. Once you successfully create your account, you will need to activate it via the link sent to your email. After you activate your account, you’ll be able to log in, select your program and register for the class time that works for you.

Rocket-Ex — Group Exercise

Rocket-Ex group exercise classes are held at the Student Recreation Center and the Morse Fitness Center. These free classes are open to all UToledo REC members and UToledo students 18 years of age or older. Main campus classes are held in the Fitness Studio, Willow Room, Cycling Room and TRX Area. Morse Fitness Center classes are held in the facility's Fitness Studio. We’re sure we have a class that fits you and your fitness goals!

MX4 — Circuit Training Classes

MX4 programming is small group training that revolves around the four pillars of fitness: cardio, power, strength and endurance. MX4 utilizes the Connexus functional training system. MX4 bridges the gap between personal training and group exercise, offering small group training to build community and consistency.

Personal Training

UToledo REC offers personal training for all members and UToledo students! Our personal training program is designed to assist members 14 years of age or older with their health and fitness goals. We will develop personalized fitness programs just for you and work with you one-on-one to achieve your goals!

 athletic Trainer

Wellness Center

Athletic training is a health care profession that provides primary care, injury and illness prevention, wellness promotion and education, emergent care, examination and clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention, and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions.

  • Injury evaluation
  • Injury rehabilitation
  • Therapeutic intervention
  • Orthopedic physician referral
  • Education in injury prevention
  • Prophylactic taping (patrons must provide their own tape)
  • Concussion management

Sunday - Thursday: 5-8p.m.

There will be no athletic training services on the following days:
