Michael Douglas is an Instructional Designer at UToledo online and specializes in providing high-quality and effective online solutions for online and blended courses. Michael holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The University of Toledo and a Master of Fine Arts from The University of North Dakota. Michael is also a certified Quality Matters Reviewer and Master Online Instructor. Prior to being an Instructional Designer, Michael was a Multimedia Designer at UToledo and has a keen interest in graphic design, user experience design, and video design work. Michael particularly enjoys teaching faculty about online course design, creating educational videos that enhance student learning, and one on one interactions with faculty to understand and assist with their course development needs. In addition to this, Michael also teaches courses in The University of Toledo Art Department as an adjunct instructor. In his spare time, Michael enjoys being outdoors, and is an avid fisherman, hiker, and kayaker.
