The Lloyd A. Jacobs Interprofessional Immersive Simulation Center (IISC) gives UToledo students a unique opportunity to practice the latest medical techniques in a simulated environment. Named for UToledo’s 16th president, the IISC was built in 2014. The 65,000-square foot facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for medical practice, including lifelike mannequins that breathe, blink and bleed, as well as virtual trauma and surgery centers.
